Hold On

It’s been another exhausting week at KAA, but in the midst of exhaustion there are some beautiful moments like,

  • When you get to call a “problem” girl to be all God created her to be
  • When you talk to an entire cabin about how they need to love one another
  • When the trouble child gets celebrated and kamp, and you realize this is the exact same grace Christ shows us
  • When a girl in your cabin accepts Christ and truly understands the gospel

These are just a few of the moments I treasure.

Still, the Lord is working on my heart. He is highlighting all my insecurities and allowing me to abide in him.

Lately, my Nicaragua trip has been heavy on my heart, but I hear the Lord saying, I will provide all you need.

Last week I penned in my journal that I feel like the Israelites in Egypt, leaving their captors. Every time hope arises it diminishes just as quickly.

Pharoah’s heart is hardened over and over again. Then when he finally let’s them go, he drives them out completely, but only for Pharaoh’s heart to harden again.

But through every obstacle God just glorified himself, ultimately by parting the Red Sea.

So hold on my dear friends.

“And I am sure of this, that He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.”–Philippians 1:6
